1. What is a discount
rate?
A discount rate is the percentage of each
transaction that you pay to your card processor for processing your credit
card sales. These fees are largely influenced by the percentage that
Master Card and Visa charge us.

2. What if I need
to take credit cards but I don’t have a Yahoo Store?
We offer merchant accounts for almost
all business types. We can provide you with everything from Internet
processing to a traditional point of sale terminal. Please contact

3. What cards
will I be able to accept?
With a basic account, you will be able
to accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. The rates will vary slightly for accepting American Express and Discover. Please contact us for specific details.

if my credit is bad?
Very few applications get declined. (And
credit (or lack of) is not typically the reason). If you have terrible
credit, your discount rate/fees may be slightly higher, but most likely
you will still get approved. About 99% of our applications get approved.

When do I get my FREE copy of CheckMAN?
Once you complete our online application, the registration fee for your copy of CheckMAN Software will be prepaid. Your software package may be mailed or can be made available for download from the internet.

How do I get the money from my credit card sales?
The completed sales from your credit card
processing will be batched out daily, and deposited directly into your
checking account. The money is deposited electronically in to your local
bank... There's no need to open up a new checking account to use our services.

7. Does
it cost extra to accept Discover?
Not with us. Other companies
charge an extra setup fee for Discover merchant
application. With us, it's FREE. You will be assigned a discount rate by Discover (very similar to the MC/Visa rate)

Does it cost extra to accept American Express?
Not with us. Other companies
charge up to an extra $100 for processing of an American Express merchant
application. With us, it's FREE. If
you will be processing less than
$5,000 annually in American Express sales, they have a special program
where you pay only a flat $5 per
month. (This breaks down to only
1.2% when processing $5,000 annually) If you process more than $5,000
annually in AmEx, then you will
be assigned a discount rate from
AmEx (typically 3.25% - 3.75%)

if my application is declined?
Very few applications get declined.
If you have terrible credit, your discount rate/fees may be slightly higher,
but most likely you will still get approved. If you do get declined,
your FREE copy of CheckMAN is still yours to keep.
